Linda found her passion in tenth grade when her English teacher tapped her to be the editor of her high school yearbook. The thrill of creation-writing, design, and photography became the basis of this farm girl’s education and the foundation of her successful career as an entrepreneur, a public relations practitioner and a teacher. She is an accredited public relations professional with over 25 years of experience in the public relations field as a chamber of commerce executive, radio professional and teacher. She was named one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business by then-Governor Edward G. Rendell.
An award-winning writer, designer and content creator as well as a lecturer at Susquehanna University, she holds degrees from La Roche University and Duquesne University, both in her hometown of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!) She is also an Emily Post-certified etiquette trainer. Linda spends her free time with her husband and twin boys and can’t be beat at “Golden Girls” trivia.
Dawn Benfer

Dawn has been making an impact in local radio for over three decades. From her early start doing voiceovers for her parent’s small business to her current role as General Manager of Susquehanna University’s WQSU, Dawn has been a popular morning show host, on-air personality, operations manager, and program director.
She shares her love of radio in the classroom teaching audio production as an adjunct professor along with managing the student-run station. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She continues to be extremely active in her community, serving on a variety of boards and task forces.
When she’s not watching reruns of “WKRP in Cincinnati,”she is caring for her rescue kitties and enjoying time with her husband and family.
